UPS-80 Track Clearance Recording Car
The UPS-80 track clearance measurement vehicle is equipped with the laser profile measurement system, photogrammetic system and the custom measurement data processing and reporting software. Functionality of the measurement system and attainable measurement accuracy have been proven in the extensive field tests. The measurements can be carried out in various lighting conditions, inclusive daylight, at twilight and artificial lighting - also in motion, on straight track and in curves. The measurement accuracy of the photogrammetric system is ±20 mm for vehicle speed up to 40 km/h and ±5 mm for measurements made with the laser range finder with the vehicle at standstill.
